9th Annual Meadows & Trails 5K

The 9th Annual Meadows & Trails 5K Run/Walk is a fundraising event held at the Hudson Highlands Nature Center's Outdoor Discovery Campus. The race takes place on Saturday, October 18, with packet pickup and same-day registration starting at 9 a.m. and the race beginning at 11 a.m. The course is a scenic, off-road 3.1-mile trail that goes through meadows and wooded paths, and participants can either run or walk. All proceeds from the event support the Nature Center's education programs and animal ambassadors. The race is a rain-or-shine event, and free parking is available on-site. The registration fee is $35 for those 19 and older if they register by October 5, and it increases to $45 afterward. The first 100 students ages 18 and under can run for free. The entry fee includes a race packet, T-shirt (guaranteed for the first 150 registrants), refreshments, and a medal for winners. Pets and strollers are not permitted on the course.
