Buzz into a day full of fun, flavor, and community at our inaugural Honeybee Festival!  Celebrate Nebraska’s state insect—made official thanks to the efforts of a third-grade class right here in Auburn—with a full lineup of events for all ages.

Enjoy the Honeybee Half Marathon or 5K, hands-on activities, observation hive, and demos from the UNL Bee Lab, plus art and floral vendors and demos, a variety of local food trucks, a honey-themed cookoff, and toe-tapping live music to end the day. From fitness to food to creative expression, it's going to be a sweet celebration of everything that makes our community thrive!
