Islamic Art Festivel 2025

The largest and oldest festival of Islamic Arts in the United States is set to take place November 15th & 16th at the University of Houston. The festival will feature artists from across the country. It is the largest display of Islamic art under one roof anywhere in the United States.

The 2025 festival will feature a captivating live Sufi music program and a stand-up Muslim comedy show. The event will also host a film festival, a spoken art program, an art workshop, and an academic seminar organized in collaboration with the University of Houston’s Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts.

With over 5,000 pieces of art by more than 50 artists on display, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy, appreciate, and purchase art. They can also engage in interactive art sessions, learn about Islamic art and culture, attend workshops, and savor ethnic food. Live demonstrations on calligraphy, henna tattoos, ebru, painting, and a variety of children’s art activities will further enrich the festival experience.
