Public Observing Beginners Night

Want help with your telescope? Bring it along and club members can help you with it. Let us know by emailing [email protected] and we can often arrange to have someone meet you at the park a bit earlier to help you get the scope working by sunset.

Don't own a telescope? No problem. Most astronomers at the event are happy to let you look at objects through their scopes (please ask to make sure you aren't interrupting something important before looking).

IMPORTANT: These observing nights are "weather permitting" and depend on clear skies. They may sometimes be rescheduled in favor of a better night if the original night is forecasted to be cloudy. Sign up at [email protected] if you would like to be notified about club events.
