Have you ever driven out in the country and seen colorful abstract squares on the sides of barns, homes and sheds? Those are called 'barn quilts' and they can represent your genealogy, be a symbol of your land, or be simply made up of your favorites colors and/or design! They're a great way to express yourself, bring color to your home and are a cheerful symbol to the surrounding land.
You'll start with a sheet of Aluminum Composite Material, primed and ready to go. ACM is light weight and outperforms wood in our Oregon weather by leaps and bounds. Please come with a sketch of your quilt idea and we'll help you transfer your vision on to your piece of primed aluminum. We'll have all the tools you'll need to paint out your design with bright colors and achieving crisp lines with plenty of painters tape. After your project is complete, we'll coat it in a UV protectant sealer that will keep it bright and beautiful for years to come! Multiple sizes available so whether a small one for indoors or a large one for the side of your barn, we can get it done! We're very excited about this class and look forward to helping you achieve your gorgeous work of art!
Bottled water and soda are always complimentary here in our studio, feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages too!
Refunds available with advanced notice, minus 3rd party small ticket fee
